Archer AX73 EU V2 Virtual Server Problems MuOnline
Archer AX73 EU V2 Virtual Server Problems MuOnline
Hello everybody, in all my years of using the tp link router, this is the first time I have this problem and I am very disappointed,I wanted to make a free server where I could play with friends or other players, having years of experience, I knew exactly what settings I had to make on a Server MuOnline
You only need 3 ports to open:
ConnectServer 44405 [Custom Port 55507],GameServer 55901,Website 80,these 3 ports must normally be open so that a player can access the page and the server when he wants to connect that is, it is not a lot of work, because I don't have a static IP and I have a dynamic IP, I use no-ip to help players to be able to connect if my ip changes,of course, the ip must be changed as well Connect,Server so far all good
I deleted 2 ports from the picture because I don't want everyone to know,as you can see everything is ok,I am the [Administrator of the router and the laptop], I cannot connect to the server ? I had the same settings on the archer ax50 v1 and I didn't have any problems not even once then what is the problem ?
normally it is a launcher that through that launcher that player can connect to the server, the data is entered correctly in the launcher but as an Administrator I cannot connect to my server because this router does not want to make the connection
Test ip 127.0.0.1 Test my ip test no-ip the same result does not work

I detected the problem, why is the connection not made when I try to log in to the server, windows 10 home or pro does not support muonline version 97d+99i or something in windows 10 does not allow the connection or it is a bug that was not detected, I tested on a VirtualBox machine the old windows 7 home premium and the connection is back,ax73 v2 works perfectly, there is no problem, it took a while until I found the problem

Hi,
Are the settings on the AX73 exactly the same as on the previous AX50? Was there any change make on the network?
Where is the server? Is it connected to the AX73 via LAN cable?

Hi
Are the settings on the AX73 exactly the same as on the previous AX50? Was there any change make on the network?
my answer is yes, I've done these settings 10,000 times, I haven't done anything wrong, and it's not even the first time I've done these settings
Where is the server? Is it connected to the AX73 via LAN cable?
my answer is yes,I mean, I even showed the pictures of what I did so that they wouldn't think I was lying,it is the first time in all my years that a tp link router gives me this problem when it comes to muonline virtual server, that is, you as a player can connect without problems because it was confirmed to me by the players, but me, as the administrator of this router, does not work basically refuses to make the connection with this launcher, another thing that I found recently with another launcher works without problems, but the old launcher that I used for years even on the old ax50 v1 worked perfectly until now when I bought this ax73 v2 it is the only router that gives me this problem
I don't know if it's an error or a bug with Port Forwarding but something doesn't go right because something like this is not normal

thanks for help today I found out from a player who tested the client properly that he can't log in,if I, as an administrator, cannot connect from the launcher, then neither players can connect to the server, clearly something is not right
I found out another strange thing, the same client, the same settings were saved in the launcher when I had the old router ax50 v1 and I could connect, also tested on the router ax73 v2 but it is only a temporary solution,if I delete the settings from the launcher, as I said last time, and redo the settings I can no longer connect
I will see what the people from tp link support say, what is the problem anyway, it is quite annoying in 2023 to be a problem like this

I am back with new information related to this model, those from tp-link support didn't really solve the problem,I don't think they know what the problem is either I'll give them another chance in 2 days when I'm free, from what I understood from tp-link support, I didn't see it either at first I had another IP in the router and when I checked the IP from the ISP I had another, so I had 2 different IPs I don't even know how this happened but I called the isp about this problem, from what I understood from my isp provider, when you install a router for the first time, somehow this router ax73 v2 creates its own ip and cannot correctly read the ip from your isp provider it is the first time I hear something like this or experience something like this,my isp provider reset the internet and now it shows the correct ip in the router but the problem still hasn't been solved
the people from tp-link support thought the first time that maybe I have vpn, but I don't use something like that,I also deleted eset internet security premium antivirus but it didn't solve anything,I have the ports open but I can't connect to the server ? o-0 my isp provider checked everything they said there are no problems their router is in bridge mode, all power works on ax73 v2 but this router refuses to work properly I really don't know what to do, I have no other solutions

I discovered what the problem is exactly what I said at tp link support, the problem is from ax73 v2,I don't know exactly, but the problem is with the software, it doesn't support older launchers, because of this the connection to the server muonline cannot be made, launcher tries to connect but the router refuses it doesn't support here you have to solve the problem,on the old ax50 v1 supports the old launcher without problems
if you can send them this message to solve this problem because they have been answering me for 3 days, I don't know exactly why

Hello i am so angry on tp link suport some beginners who didn't know what to do when they entered my computer ? I explained the problem that this router has and he refuses the idea that it is from the router,I would like to ask if you can contact a tp link expert who knows how to do the job and fix this problem
Here is the message I sent with those I discussed tp link support:
you clearly don't have the experience because I watched when you entered the PC to check the problem, you did nothing all you did was waste my time,I explained how this router behaves, you refused the idea that the problem is with the router and I will prove to you that it is exactly as I said
this router does not allow the connection with an old launcher to the muonline server, even if in the launcher you put the domain and the port so that you can log in to the server, nothing more is so simple, once again the problem is with the router
here is the proof when I try to make a new connection with the old launcher to be able to connect to the server ?
in the picture you can see how the launcher tries to connect to the server, the anti-hack server shows you very clearly that the connection is made but the router does not allow it,I have been making Muonline server for years, there is nothing wrong with the settings, the whole problem is with the router
another proof to understand that the problem is from the router, I managed to find a second launcher that this router allows connection to the server,it is clear that the router has a software bug that does not allow the older launcher to connect to the server, the old launcher worked when I had the old ax50 v1, that is proof,I'll discuss it on the forum where I posted the problem, get someone who really knows what he's doing

Have you tried to experiment with the HomeShield settings (especially with the last three features):
I would disable all three (IPS, Malicious Content Filter and DDoS Protection) to check if one of these security features is not the cause for your issue.
If router works as expected when all these three are disabled, then I would start them one by one to identify exactly which one causing the issue.
