I have 2 different ISPs and would like to connect both simultaneously to a Deco setup as router, so it can work on load balancing or failover mode. Does Deco X50 supports this configuration? If not, is there any Deco model that supports this functionality?

Thanks for helping.

  @MBMoreira

Hi, Welcome to the community.

Deco X50 does not support multi-WAN connections and only one Ethernet port could be configured as a WAN port.

We have business routers that are capable of multi-wan connections and support link backup.

How to configure Link Backup

Thank you very much.

Best regards.

Same here. Can't buy deco without wan agregation.

Otherwise I would have bought the XE75Pro/BE65

  @MBMoreira would like to see this feature with realtime failover virtual WAN configuration. I am going to go with a PepLink new B1 to fill the gap. Turn the DECO into a mesh AP only and not use the router/firewall/DHCP/etc.

Having multiple WAN is important for higher end market who have the financial capacity to pay monthly to ensure there's virtually no internet downtime. It is also as important to ensure that there is only a single WiFi network and roaming feature to serve the whole big House or building

Needed to be able to use cellphone as mobile hotspot for backup when my ISP has its monthly service outage

  @David-TP hi David

Load balance we have a lot, But the problem here is having load balance using deco features, i have 8 decos with full manage, if a get load balance i will not be able to manage all link and deco same device/time. Is there a integration between those router you suggested and deco?

I would love to see all Deco mesh routers support failover to a secondary internet connection. Even better if it directly supports an iPhone hotspot as that secondary connection.

Two lines is increasingly common to ensure reliable home working.
