Model: Deco M4
Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version: 1.1.1

Hi,

I've been using my M4 pair in AP mode for some time, connected to a BT Smart Hub, acting as modem and managing DHCP.

Having now moved to fibre, my M4 is acting as router.

Frequently however, the app is showing clients as offline, even when the devices are online. My Blink camera sync module has just been shown as offline, but Blink's app didn't notify me that it was, and I could access the camera's live view.

Similarly the app told me that my alarm hub was offline, but it's connected via Ethernet to my M4 satellite.

The app is up to date, and my firmware is.

Is the app generally flaky?

Thanks,

S.

  @Shrops

Hi, welcome to the community.

The Deco APP might still need further optimization.

Could you please refer to this link to help me submit the APP log:

How to submit Deco APP log

By the way, did the APP always display these two devices offline? or actually sometimes online but most of the time offline?

Wait for your reply.

Best regards.

  @David-TP

Hi David,

It's generally the reverse, the devices are shown online more often than offline.

Given that others are reporting similar problems with the app in Apple's App Store, I suspect the app does need more work.

I've sent a support request with system log.

Kind regards,

Simon.
