Hi,

 

I have a Deco X20(US) V3 and I am unable to update the firmware to newer versions. I tried the web interface but it prompted to update the latest version. I have downloaded V1.0.7 which is the latest version. On the Deco app, there is no push notification for updates also.

 

What is weird is that this version of firmware is not listed on the TP-Link website download list. Are devices with this version of firmware stuck with no future updates? If not please ensure that updates are pushed and can be installed correctly.

Hi, it is safe to update from 1.0.5 Build 20220812 Rel. 62220 to 1.0.7 Build 20230413 via web UI local update.

How to Update the Firmware of Deco

I see the local SG website does not list V3, only V1/2/4. It might be why the firmware 1.0.7 for V3 has not been uploaded.

Thanks for the explanation. Out of curiosity, why is firmware 1.0.5 seemingly not available anywhere from the download sites?
