Latest XE75 Pro firmware brings problems
Since upgrading the firmware for my XE75 Pro mesh system to the latest revision (121 build 20230530 Reo 55832) I have frequent/chronic drop outs when on any of the satellite units. Stable connection on main unit only.
If anyone is yet to upgrade to this firmware revision I recommend holding fast as this is really bad.
If anyone can provide a route to revert the system to last stable firmware I'd be grateful for the assist.

Well, the good news and the bad news.
The good news: Following the firmware recovery method allows you to get back to firmware rev 1.0.3.
The bad news: It requires more use of the reset button than is expected. It also necessitates setting up the network from scratch because it appears that once each satellite unit is reverted it cannot be simply added back onto the network if the primary unit is on a different Fw rev. It would have been handy to be able to simply re-add them to the network, but that did not appear to be possible while the primary unit was on 1.2.1. ***If you need them make note of your settings, network names, & logins before starting this process***. You will also have to delete the original of your network from the deco app having duplicated it (in my experience).
The good news: once all uits are back on 1.0.3 and the network is recreated ALL THE PROBLEMS ARE GONE.
The BAD NEWS (for TP-Link): I think this has to confirm that the 1.2.1 firmware release has issues. Pull it back if you can, review, repair, release new revision (when verified as working).

Firstly, Deco XE75 Pro did not share the same firmware with Deco XE75. So please check whether you have XE75 pro or XE75.
For the issue mentioned here on Deco XE75 Pro V1 with 1.2.1, the newly released firmware 1.2.2 has fixed this issue already.

As for the firmware downgrade, if you are interested, it is suggested to have a look at this link:Update Deco
Normally, whether the firmware could be downgraded depends on both the current firmware and the original firmware.
For example. the original firmware for Deco XE75 V1 is 1.2.2/1.2.1, then you could downgrade from 1.2.5 to 1.2.2/1.2.1 directly via web UI since from x.x.2 to x.x.5, it is a small version upgrade within the same platform.
While for Deco XE75 pro, the original firmware is 1.0.3 or 1.0.0, from 1.0.x to 1.2.x, it is a huge upgrade across different firmware platforms. So the firmware downgrade needs to be done via firmware recovery.

Am in the same boat. Terrible issues since the upgrade. Disconnections, lag, slow speeds.

@David-TP - reaching out here for help. Looking for a way to roll back/revert to last good firmware revision. My mesh system is not fit for purpose in its current shape and it'll have to be a warranty return if it can't be normalised quickly.

I see you are on Deco XE75 v1-1.2.5. Currently, there is a new firmware that has fixed some reported issues on 1.2.5. If you would like to test the beta firmware, please refer to the private message.

@Rgjones since Deco XE75 pro does not share the same firmware with Deco XE75, I haven't seen feedback of XE75 pro-1.2.2/1.2.1 till recently, could you please help me check the following details:

Desperate to find a solution - I cannot tell you how delighted I was with network performance pre the firmware update. It had revolutionised the internet in my challengly-shaped, 110 year old house with thick walls! It’s been terrible since the update and teams calls have become nigh on impossible.

How do we get on the beta firmware? I have moved to much to the new firmware options and dont want to have break more things. I am in the same camp as others, best system before this last update!

the 1.2.6 firmware is for Deco XE75 V1.

I am having similar connectivity issues with XE75 (1.2.5 Build 20230530 Rel 46610)
After some testing I was able to identify that the problem is only for 5GHz network. Any device connected to 5GHz network experiences disconnects or loses just internet connectivity while remains connected to the network.
Other things I tried, but the they did not resolve the issue
- Changing 5GHz channel width from 160 to 80
- Disabling Fast Roaming
- Disabling Beamforming
- Disabling / Changing Mode on OFDMA/MU-MIMO
As a workaround I have disabled the 5GHz channel and I am using only 2.4GHz. With 2.4GHz everything works smoothly. Not sure if anybody else tried this but it can be a temporary solution until the new firmware release.
The 1.2.6 Firmware is not not yet available to me through the App, I will try to manually install it later today.
