Multiple users with whom the camera is shared should be able to turn privacy mode on or off. Currently, only the owner of the camera can do it.

 

I am in a situation where multiple family members live together and the last person who leaves the house needs to turn privacy mode off for safety.  I find this a major problem with this camera which should be easily fixed with an software upgrade.

 

In general, there should be a way to fine tune permissions granted to others when sharing a device. There is also no web UI or software to control the camera using a PC (Note - I'm talking about controlling the functionality, not just viewing the feed).

I also need this feature. Multiple people living in the same house and everyone needs to turn on and off privacy mode on their own. That or just implement admin and user roles, and the account owner can decide who should have admin permissions. That seems like a basic and critical governance system that should exist

I agree. We live multiple people in this house and we all need our own control over the features. There are different people in the house at different times, we shouldn't need to call someone to do something, that's ridiculous. There should exist a user and admin role system, and the account/device owner should be able to decide who should have admin permissions.

If using the camera as a baby monitor, it would be really helpful for all users to be able to put the camera into and out of privacy mode
