Hi there, I just brought a Surfshark VPN account. Unfortunately I can't setup the account in my TP-link Deco X60 router via the deco app. 

Please help me, thanks!

Have you seen the instruction here: How to set up VPN Server/VPN Client on Deco router

If you already tried the configuration guide, can I have more details of what issues you have had after the configuration? some screenshots would be highly appreciated.

I too am having this issue with Surfshark. I can connect manually via the app and using Open VPN and have tried both TCP and UDP. I've attached screenshot. 

 

It just stays on "connecting" for days. Any device that I choose to use this VPN then doesn't have internet access.

  @hoylg did you manager to reslve this? I'm having a simular issue. The VPN actially shows as connected though within the deco app but when ever i try to access anything on a particular client i have no internet connectivity

Yeah all solved with changing the WAN DNS under IPV4 to 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4. This showed as connected straight away and any device selected to use it worked. 

 

If it shows as connected and you're not getting internet on those devices then it may be a configuration issue with your VPN config file.

does it need to be google dns? I'm using cloudflare 1.1.1.1 1.0.0.1, would that make a difference? That's the only thing that seems to be different for me

These were what the TP Link engineer told me to put in. Might be worth trying and seeing if that works.
