I have problems with a Fastweb sim card. When I use the sim on my phone the sim is a 4G with 4 to 5 bars and good speed, when I insert the sim in the router I cannot do the wizard installation because fastweb is not in the list of avaliable isp operators. I can still create a profile with the APN of Fastweb but the sim remain in 3G and refuse to connect in 4G, try to update firmware but nothing changed, tried to see on your forum and some people had this problem with tiscali and fastweb, can you provide a firmware with the solution or a fix? Or i will have to return the router as it is useless in these conditions.

Hi, please check the model on the product label as well, if it also shows Archer MR500 V1, please refer to the solution mentioned in this post: 

SIM card is detected but network type shows "No Service" with Italy Tiscali or Fastweb SIM card

Hi, thank you very much for posting on TP-Link Community.

1. May I know if your router is MR500 or MR550? What is the complete firmware version, including the build numbers?

2. Please go to Advanced->Network->Internet page, change Network Mode from 4G Preferred to 4G Only, then check if it will have any 4G signal.

3. If still no 4G signal, please share with us screenshots of Advanced->Status page, Advanced->Network->Internet page along with System Log page saved on Advanced->System Tools->System Log page.

Ok, I did 3 screenshots in JPEG with ALL the info you asked, from the model of the router to the firmware and build numbers etc etc. I saved the system log too and I will send all 4 files to you in a rar because the mail limit the upload of files to only 1. If you need other infos contact me.

tried to upload the log in txt format but it says failed to uplad and i can`t post it because it say it containt invalid links but it is in the rar file.

The label say 550, so there is no firmware update that i can apply on the list of the link you gave me, I tried the one for the MR500(EU) V1 but it refuse to use it
