Model: Archer TX3000E
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 22.180_230206

So, I've recently bought the Archer TX3000E, so I can Hotspot Wi-fi 6 to play VR wireless. Problems begun the next day. After turning the PC on, the device manager says that the card is unplugged. I have to unplug the card, restart the PC multiple times and then it starts working again. It really annoys me, I have already tried updating BIOS, turned the pci port Generation to 2, turned off the power managment, and I still have to do all of the repluging to get it to work. The card works amazing, but it is a real pain to get it to work.

My specs:

MB: AMD B550 AORUS ELITE V2

Proc: Ryzen 5 5600X

OS: Windows 10 (10.0.19045 compilation 19045)

BIOS:  F16c

I have no other Wi-Fi cards that could cause issues.

Hi,

Does your Archer TX3000E behave exactly the same in all three PCIe slots?

Yes, that's what really annoying. If it were just one slot, it wouldn't bother me.

The short cable from the TX3000E to the internal USB port is connected properly, I presume?

Mainboards using the AMD B550 chipset are quite common and PCIe Wi-Fi cards with Intel's AX200 chip as well, but I haven't heard about widespread problems with these.

I wonder if your particular TX3000E may have a defect?

Yes, the short cable is plugged correctly, I have also tried the card in another PC, and it worked there perfectly, it was instantly detected and I didn't have to do any of the work I have to do in my PC.

Hi, it is also suggested to turn off power management on the computer here:

And install the chipset manufacture driver here:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/189347/-Wi-Fi-6-AX200

If it did not help, it is suggested to return the adapter back to the shop retailer first. A USB adapter is more recommended like Archer TX20U.

Thank you very much.

best regards.

The thing is, I really care about the qualaity of the connection so I prefer the pci card than the usb, also I installed the drivers, and turned off the power managment

If you are worried whether the Windows drivers, the Windows power management or the Windows operating system in general may be causing the problem, then try the following.

Download a recent version of a Linux distribution that can be run directly of a bootable DVD or USB thumb drive (sometimes called "Live CD" version). Support for the Intel AX200 should be included in Linux kernel version 5.1 and higher.

After you've created the bootable DVD or USB drive just boot from it and check if the behavior of the Archer TX3000E is the same or not.

So, I've tried ubuntu, and it said that the card is not plugged. The behavior is the same.

So this has happened.

I left home and unplugged the PC for 2 weeks, when I got back the Card itself started working perfectly, it was always detected when i turned on the PC,

but I had to move it to clean, the space behind it, after i plugged it in, and turned the PC on the problem returned.

I have all the drivers installed, the card is not broken.

I have a temporary solution, but I hope it will not become long-term.

The things I do are:

1.I turn the PC on to see if the card works (most of the time it does not)

2.I turn the PC off, and unplug the card

3. I plug the card back in, and turn on the BIOS to see if the card is detected

4. If not I repeat the process until it works (usually 3/4 times)

I really hope someone could help me.
