Model: Archer AX72 Pro
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.0

Hi all,

I have two TPLINK router, AX72 PRO(master) and AX55(slave).  I want to join the two routers by onemesh as they are both supported.

Both of them are hardware V.1, both updated with latest firmware.

I completed the setting on AX72PRO and Onemesh is on.  I reseted the AX55 and from the "EasyMesh" page I selected "satellite". BUT after the reset it only reset my router, and it won't go to "satellite" mode and remain in "normal" mode,  from the warning message said I will not be able to access AX55 config page once I click on "satellite" mode, but still I can.  I can't use my AX72 PRO to search that AX55.

Any help?  Thank you.

  @erioho Finally I connect both router.  The key point is to set WPA2 instead of WPA3, and activate WPS.  WPS will redirect to Onemesh and all done.

  @erioho Use beta Archer AX55_V1_1.2.3 Build 20230629 (public beta release)

https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/611964

I had the same problem with official 1.2.3. v1 ax55

Looking forward easymesh ethernet to ax55 via wifi is very weak with high ping

Follow this post and check if you can add AX55 to the AX72 Pro Onemesh network.

In the thread thread mentioned, this worked only when the Onemesh router is a primary device and the Easymesh router is a satellite.

  @erioho

Does that mean Ax72 pro can be used as a secondary for any another tplink router?

  @erioho

I am trying to slave a AX55 to a AX73 with mesh

https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/621132?page=1

When I set the AX55 to Satellite mode and it resets and boots back up I push the WPS button on the back and then log into the master (AX73) and it still doenst show up under mesh devices.

I dont see a way to add a mesh device to the AX73 either?

Very frustratingsmiley

Its have a lot of topics for a problem with making Tp-Link Archer AX55 in "Satellite mode". Maybe it's a firmware problem or bug, but nobody can do that. It is impossible to make an AX55 Satellite Router to join in Mesh.
