Archer C80 v1 new firmware 1.13.1 super buggy
There was a new firmware update for archer c80 v1 to 1.13.1 yesterday and now the webpage of the router doesn't show any clients connected and even in the tether app it shows a list of clients but never updates and new devices don't show up there at all. It's very buggy and sometimes I can't even get to the webpage for the router. Renaming of devices don't work and changing of icons don't stay either. Also I can't access the router when I'm out of my home network as well. The previous firmware worked very well and I tried to downgrade but it doesn't let me. I have tried restarting the router several times and deleted and reinstalled the tether app but nothing changes. Please issue a bug fix asap. This new firmware is super unstable and I can't downgrade.

Hi, thanks a lot for the feedback.
Except for the client list, how about the remote management via Tether App? are you able to login the router now via Tether App in a different network?
Regarding the firmware downgrade, I've replied you in another thread, please have a check: https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/619858?replyId=1243028

@Dinu_ks are you using easy mesh function? And which easy mesh device do you use?

@aceedburn yes im using easy mesh. Archer C80 is my main router.
i have also connected 2 additional devices on easy mesh. Archer c6 to easy mesh via ethernet (backhaul).
and additionally one range exteneder (RE205). all these issue started after the current update.
and also on my earlier communication (https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/619276?replyId=1241970) i had requested to fix the issue related to Dual band ssid. where if i use same ssid for 2.4/5ghz my devieces prefers 2.4 as default. this happens only with c80/c6. but the range extended works well and switches band based on the distance.
i was planned to buy a tplink wifi 6 router. but if this is the case then i need to consider it again.

@Dinu_ks indeed there is an issue with the easy mesh implementation in this new firmware. Noah the senior engineer is aware of it and hopefully a fix will come soon.
