Model: Archer MR600
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.1.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 220727
My (mobile) ISP support only IPv6 and not giving any IPv4 address at all, on seeing mobile special 192.0.0.8 is used, which I guess 464XLAT mechanism employed. If I manaually configure IPv6 dns in Linux machine the network works, however it becomes difficult because MR600 gives only IPv4 DHCP and if i enable it (without I have to remember the IPv6 address of router, which if it changed I cannot acess router at all). Seems there is an existing thread of possible implementation long back https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/526958, is it supported now?

Hi, thank you very much for posting on TP-Link Community.

May I know who your ISP is? If you use IPv4 only as the PDP Type in your APN profile settings, will it work?

If IPv4 only doesn't work, please try the following beta firmware on MR600 V3:

Archer_MR600(EU)_V3_230811

Note: After you install the above beta firmware, you could create a new profile manually and set PDP Type as XLAT, then it will use the 464XLAT.

  @Sunshine Thanks for the quick reply. Ok the Beta image works with XLAT PDP type, I am able to access github.com (not sure whey they are still in IPv4) and ping to 8.8.8.8 works. It would be better if production image is availabe soon.

Thanks a lot for the update, glad to hear that it solves the problem. And yes, future official firmware will add it as well, please pay attention to any new firmware release on the router's Web GUI or official website.

Hi, here is the beta firmware for MR600 V2:

https://static.tp-link.com/upload/beta/2023/202308/20230803/Archer_MR600(EU)_V2_1.7.0_230801.zip

Please also remember to create a new profile and select PDP Type as XLAT.

By the way, if you would like to install other official firmware, please do make sure it is not using XLAT before the updating.

  @TheOneUser

Hi, may I have a screenshot of Advanced->Status page, Advanced->Network->Internet page and also system log file when using IPv4&IPv6?

If convenient, please let us know the specific issue, like some client devices cannot get internet while others can?
