  @David-TP
I still have the issue.
Tried to change encription methods but no success
The IoT devices are chinese brand Thermostats and light bulb switches and all work fine with my other brand router

i am using Deco X20(EU) Ver: 3.0 (currently 2 pack mesh with wireless backhaul)

This is the firmware, it seems newer version from what you have listed and it was automatically updated via Deco app -

What will be your suggestion
Should i revert to the firmware from your link or if there is something else that i can do?

Thanks in advance!

  @LimberJack

Hi, Thank you very much for your feedback.

The official 1.1.4 should have fixed this issue already and there is no need to install the beta.

I wonder except the smart home devices, Thermostats, and light bulb switches, are you able to detect the IOT network on your mobile phone?

If you run "Network Optimization" once under Deco APP>More, could you please help me check what is the current 2.4Ghz channel on Deco X20?

Wait for your reply and best regards.

  @David-TP
Hello David,
Yes i can connect my phone in all of the 3 networks - Main, Guest and IoT and i have internet acces through all of them. In fact i should be connected to the network so i can assign IoT thermostate to that specific network
I have tried to connect 3 (out of 5) thermostats to all of the SSIDs, but no success
then i though that there is more generic issue with my network, so
Previously the main deco was used in router mode after my ISP modem which als was router. I have changed to mode to Access Point and tried to connect the IoTs again with no success again. Actually the IoT devices connect to that SIP modem/router without issues.

I did remove the second deco just in case there are too much interference that could possibly messed up the IoTs - no success

I have put all three SSIDs to use 2.4GHz and WPA/WPA2 - it didnt help
I have run the network optimization and repeat the trial again - and yes you guess it, no success

My next steps are to connect one old router (other brand than TP link) instead of Deco and check if the IoTs will connect.
Next is to make the ISP modem transperant and use the Deco as router
Afterwards i am out of ideas and will need guidelines how to debug
it might sound stupid but could i t be some kind of NAT issue

Below you can see what you requested after the network optimization
