Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Since 2 firmware updates ago everytime you turn the guest network off it defaults back to the main network name _guest

 

This is super annoying and is a feature downgrade 

 

Can you fix this or at least make it an option to not do this

  @David-TP I bought the Deco X68 a few weeks ago. Hardware version 2. Android Deco app is the latest version 3.6.74. Firmware is the latest 1.22 Build 20230727 Rel. 34108. Doesn't look like any fix has been made in the firmware updates/upgrades since Sep 2023 when this issue was first raised by @RohanB. I'm assuming the firmware for the X90 would be similar to the X68 for this functionality. Guest Network SSID always appends "_Guest" to the main network SSID everytime it is turned on. It allows changing to a different name as long as the Guest Network is on but gets reset when it is turned off.
