Archer AX55 requests IP-Address every minute or more (DHCP-Request)
My new Archer AX55 sends every minute or more a DHCP-Request to my DHCP-Server. This causes unnecessary network traffic and fills logfiles on the server.
The router mode is "AP" with Dynamic-IP. Static-IP is not an option for me.
DHCP-Server is "ISC DHCP server" on Debian. Default-lease-time is two hours (7200 sec), but Archer AX55 ignores it.
Interestingly different DHCP-Server versions behave different:
isc-dhcp-server 2:4.2.4-7.1 makes short DHCPREQEST und DHCPACK sequences without interaction with the DNS-Server.
isc-dhcp-server 4.3.1-6+deb8u3 nearly every time (but not always!) makes a complete DNS-Server delete and adding operation. Sometimes only a short DHCPREQEST and DHCPACK sequence is made.
Unfortunatedly it is not possible to attach sample logfiles here.
I have seen similar posts about this problem with very frequent dhcp-reqests. Is there a chance that it will be fixed with an firmware update?
