Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Hi,

As per the title, i can get it to connect to my phones hotspot and it works just fine.  It only finds my home routers 2.4ghz connection, and when i try to connect it takes a long time to connect, then says connected no internet.

So i've tried multiple driver installs, (the t3u, the plus and the nano,) ive done so via setup.exe and by manually updating the driver through device manager and selecting the relevant .inf files.

I've also gone through this post, https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/217836

and tried everything suggested, and still no luck. Allthough i did get it to pick up the 5ghz by selecting 802.11ac in the device manager details, it then repeatedly crashed before even letting me input the wifi password.

Just to confirm, the other devices on the network are all connected via 5ghz and experience no problems.

Im at a loss here, can anyone help me diagnose this issue please.

thankyou,

Ross

  @ross0390

Hi, How long have you had Archer T3U?

Have you tried the driver here:

https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/509006

On Post 217836, it is suggested to change the 5GHz channel on the main router to channel 36, may I know what is the current channel on your host Wi-Fi router?

Thank you very much and best regards.
