C420 privacy zone??
I'm sure I read after a firmware update privacy zone was available without a subscription. One of the reasons I've gone for Tapo products was due to being able to record on a hub and no requirement for a subscription?? Thanks

Privacy zone is available for Tapo C420 without Tapo Care subscription.
All Tapo cameras can save recordings either on an SD card or through subscribing to Tapo Care cloud service (detection videos only). For the Tapo Sub-G camera that works with a hub, the SD card will be installed in the hub instead of the camera itself.
Friendly reminder: To optimize power consumption, Tapo camera models powered by batteries record video only when a detection event occurs, continuous recording is not supported.
Consider purchasing a model powered by an AC adapter if you need continuous recording. TP-Link Camera -- Power Type: AC Adapter
