I keep losing connection when I try to manage my Deco's through the web interface.

 

  1. I navigate to the main Deco's IP Address.
  2. The login screen shows, I submit the password.
  3. The main Deco page shows.
  4. And a couple of seconds later it disconnects and shows the login screen again.

 

This happens on both Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome browsers.

Off course I tried clearing the browsers cache, cookie's, etc.

But the result is that I am not able to manage my network through the web interface.

 

Managing the Deco's through the (iOS) app works fine, so I am not completely stuck.

But I don't understand what happens.

 

Anybody any idea's?

Hi, welcome to the community.

Deco is mainly controlled and configured via Deco APP. Web UI is more like a backup for Deco APP, especially for local firmware upgrades and Most of the settings on the web UI can't be edited.

As for the issue reported here, I think the web interface is designed with a preset valid time to safeguard privacy, which necessitates regular login to ensure continuous protection.

Thanks for the reply.

I understand what your are saying, but if that is the case, where can I adjust that preset valid time?

Because the 7 or 8 seconds (regardless of any activity) that it seems to be set at now is way to short to make this a useful backup.

I am afraid it is not supported to edit the valid time of web interface yet. I will add it to the feedback list first to see if other users might request the same feature.
