  @David-TP thanks for your message. Yes I already own a RE800BE and GE800. My question is concerning when we will finally get Ethernet backhaul for the RE800BE to connect with the GE800? It was marked as "planned" in this thread for a while now and the RE800BE still runs firmware v1 without any updates at all since launch.

Same question... I have GE800 and 2 RE800 but ethernet backhaul don't work... works only in accespoint mode on RE800 but it's not the same thing and I don't want to use wifi mesh

  @banc

Hi, thank you very much for your time and patience.

Have you checked the local online stores?

I see RE800BE is available on Amazon.de:https://www.amazon.de/-/en/RE800BE-Amplifier-Repeater-Tri-Band-Maximised/dp/B0DCW6K8FS

Best regards.

  @teoteo82 yes in my case I connected my RE800BE in access point mode using 10G backend to my GE800. So this is also not a great solution but has to do until the planned release with ethernet backhaul for the RE800BE ist available.

I am also very disappointed that TP Link doesn't bother at all to react to our messages in this thread but unfortuneatly have also no other news thus far.

  @banc I'm interested too... I have a GE800 and two RE800 but easy mesh ethernet backhaul don't work. I had to set the 2 repeater as access point but it isn't the same thing.

  @Juan11

Same here, any ETA on where we would get backhaul by ethernet?

or if they updated the product pages or any of the FAQs or any other information on this website to be current. It's super frustrating.

  @David-TP

Is the RE700X v1 planned to support EasyMesh in AP mode?
I have one and would like to configure EasyMesh with ethernet backhaul.

Thank you.

I wonder if @David-TP still works for TP Link, he doesn't seem to reply anymore in any threads indecision.

Anyways, would be nice if anyone at TP Link could answer the questions in this (and other) thread(s).
