What is EasyMesh with Ethernet Backhaul and Why we need it?
EasyMesh with Ethernet Backhaul refers to the Main router and the satellite device are connected via an Ethernet cable to establish an EasyMesh network. Ethernet Backhaul offers a more reliable and faster option compared to EasyMesh with Wi-Fi, ensuring a robust and efficient EasyMesh network setup.
How to create EasyMesh with Ethernet Backahul?
Pre-configuration Notice:
1.Ethernet Backhaul is supported only when both your main router and satellite extender support EasyMesh with Ethernet Backhaul.

2.The extender needs to be under wireles range extender mode, not Access Point.
3.Once the Ethernet backhaul is successfully established, the wireless backhaul will be automatically disconnected. Conversely, if the Ethernet backhaul connection gets interrupted, the devices will automatically reestablish the mesh network using the wireless backhaul.

Scenario 2: Add a new satellite Range Extender to EasyMesh
EasyMesh with Ethernet Backhaul stars with RE315_V1, which features an Ethernet Port with a speed of up to 100 m/s. This functionality will gradually be extended to other EasyMesh-supported extenders. We encourage you to share your feedback below regarding your current models of EasyMesh extenders and routers. Hmmm... the speed of implementation of even such most important functions for the user as Ethernet Backhaul for extenders is simply terrifying. And this is not to mention the fact that initially its absence is a marketing mistake. I agree that the re705x should get this option as quickly as possible. As well as re600x and other popular extenders

Hi tp-link team,
I am currently using the TP-Link Archer AXE75 router and I bought yesterday the TP-Link RE815XE supposing that I will connect it via an Ethernet cable so as to create a mesh network in my house with a stable wired backhaul.
After doing some research on the internet I am very disappointed to learn that this feature is not supported from the Tp-link repeater. I find this fact unacceptable since the device is so expensive and the described functionality seems pretty basic to me.
Is there any possibility to add this feature in the near future or should I return the product purchased and look elsewhere for a product that supports this functionality?

Hi
After setting up the RE-315 with Wifi backhaul and making sure its in Extender Mode when I plug this into my main router Archer AX55 v1.0 things start going haywire and my devices start falling off the network and it seems the router CPU goes to 100% and connection to the console is flaky and intermittent? Pull the cable out and things start to return to normal.
