Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.23 Build 230418 Rel. 60395n

Android smartphones gets disconnected after a minutes usage. Even if sit next to the Extender. So this is not related to weak range. Extender connects to router 2.4ghz and extends both on 2.4ghz and 5. I tried 3 smartphones all with Android 12 or above and latest Qualcomm SoCs. All has this disconnect bug.

While my laptop with windows 11 doesn't have this issue even if very far from the Extender. I have updated to latest firmware (which is typed in during this thread making) still has the bug. The latest firmware had a changelog mentioning that "Fixed bug of some IoT devices disconnecting from Extender on 2.4ghz". Looks like it didn't get fixed really. Please look into this.

  @Rozin8

Hi, May I know the model number of your 3 mobile phones?

Did they connect to  2.4GHz or 5GHz of RE315?

I noticed you mentioned RE315 only extends the 2.4GHz of the host router. Is it because the host router does not support 5GHz?

And the latest firmware for RE315 is now 1.0.30. It is also suggested to update to the latest 1.0.30 manually via web UI:

Best regards.

  @David-TP Is it safe to update firmware to this version? Hardware version is 1.0. And country says EU.
