2,4GHz Wifi extender Starts causing issues to the main 5Ghz router
Hello there,
We have 5Ghz connection at home but sadly it doesnt reach the kitchen where the signal is very very low. In order to fix the problem we decided to buy a wifi extender so we can have a strong connection. We decided to go for this model becasue it was pretty affordable and also we belived we didnt need to pay for a 5GHz extender because 2.4 is enough for watching videos and having calls, which are the main reasons we need better internet in the kitchen. Our router is seperated to 2 signals a 5Ghz and a 2.4Ghz. I connected the extender to the 2.4Ghz. In the begniing everything was amazing, but after some time i realised that after some time of working the extender starts messing the main 5Ghz line. It shows that there is internet but many websites stop opening and messages stop being sent. When I unplug the extender and then plug it again everything stars working perfectly again, both the extender and the main line, but only until the next day.
I tried looking online for solutions but didn't get any luck. For now I just unlug the extender once again to solve the issue. Has anyone got a better solution to this issue ?
Thanks in advance!
