Kasa Thermostat/KE100 started to not show full digits on it

Firmware Version: 2.6.0

After a short period of time (less than 6 monhts), one of the Kasa Thermostat has started to show 2nd digits with missing parts on the thermostat. Attached is the pictures. Reset didn't help. Also I was thinking the LED lights there are broken, but it is able to show 28 without any problem but 21, 12 and some other not. Any idea on this issue?

It looks like this could be a hardware failure, perhaps a part inside is making poor contact.
