I've a 3 node M5 mesh set up with an IoT network, and have my various Google Home devices to connect to the node in the same room only, however this preference is ignored (see screenshot). It's possibly not a problem, but why is it not behaving?
Also the smart devices frequently go offline as reported by the DECO app, but still seem to respond to Google Assistant commands 🤷♂️
@SteveBower Try setting your main network to 5Ghz only & setting your guest network to 2.4Ghz only
I have similar issues and struggeling. Pure and simple there is no solution yet....
The client device decides where it connects, it can ignore the preference, or even not be capable of understanding it.
@SteveBower Indeed is not working but Support said that Signal Source issue will be addressed by engineers.Looking forward to get the update as now is not working even the setting is mentioned clearly.
