Hi,

I hope to find a answer about witch Switch can handle or solving the problem with Backhaul and uses (succesfully) the IEEE 1905.1 Protocol in combination with the WiFi AP's M5

I have seen a few discussion about this subject on this forum before but actually, I still haven't seen any confirmation regarding the
TP-Link switch that uses IEEE 1905.1 and works well with the Deco WiFi (AP) M5
Is there anyone who can say for sure which TP-Link 8port Switch can prevent backhaul and works with Deco WiFi (AP) M5 based on IEEE 1905.1 portocol or knows how to set it so it'll works well?
I was hoping for the TP-Link TL-SG108E 8-Port Gigabit Easy Smart Managed Network Switch.
But I can't find if this Switch is using the IEEE 1905.1 Protocol.

Thanks in advance.

Good day ! I would like to help and contribute to this community as much as possible. I'll probably be more asking than contributing at the beginning. Please excuse my poor knowledge. Cheers!

Hi, welcome to the community.

TL-SG108E does support IEEE 1905.1 Protocol, and could be used to create Ethernet Backhaul for Deco M5.

Basically, All TP-Link switches support IEEE 1905.1 Protocol.

Thank you very much and best regards.

sorry for my late response
I thought I already gave an answer.
Thank you, I am still considering whether to get new switches, my Router Archer C7 V5 also has many problems.
It's too expensive for me to replace everything at the moment.
Thank you very much for your contribution.
