Archer T3U Plus is causing BSOD when using a hotspot on Windows 11.
2024-02-02 07:07:32
Model: Archer T3U
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1030.29.618.2019

I use the hotspot function on Windows 11 to be able to connect my Quest 2 / Steam Deck to my PC. The devices are able to connect but BSOD happens every time when connected to my Steam Deck and rarely when connected to the Quest 2.

In device manager under the event tab for the adapter properties, the device can't start RTLWLANU and the same device appears on the BSOD "RTLWLANU.SYS"

I don't know how to fix this issue, so if anybody knows, please help :).

Hello @endis

You may try with a newer driver version for this T3U, then check if it will work properly.

Download link: https://static.tp-link.com/upload/beta/2022/202206/20220601/Realtek_WLAN_1030.44.0531.2021_Win20H1_RS1_Archive3_DUA_0530_U2U3.zip (public beta)

If this doesn't help, please show us the hotspot setting details and we may try to check it further.
