Hi, Since you have two ruters/NATs, to avoid of Double NAT issue, It is suggested to set Deco into Access Point mode and open port 1234 on the ISP router:

How to set up Deco to work in Access Point mode

Best regards.

@David-TP is it possible to leave the deco in router mode and put the deco on the same subnet of the modem?

Hi, I am afraid it can't.

When Deco is in router mode, its NAT is enabled by default so that its LAN subnet would be different from the WAN subnet which is the local subnet of your ISP modem router.

Best regards.

It can be done, but it is more cumbersome.

You have two options:

1. Google for "port forwarding with double NAT" and "port forwarding two routers" to see how it can be done. External links are not allowed here, so you'll have to do your own googling by these key phrases.

or

2. Place Main Deco in DMZ of ISP modem (the one with static public IP). Then, just follow How to set up Port Forwarding feature on the Deco
