2x1 Grid Preview

Dear community,

I currently have two cameras, and the application's preview grid allows for viewing four cameras at once in a 4x2 format. However, I believe a larger view would be more beneficial. Can we consider changing the layout to a 2x1 view for a more expansive and detailed display?

Your thoughts and feedback on this suggestion are highly appreciated!

Thank you,

Vinod Gupta

Not sure if you have pictured that, frankly speaking, for most mobile phones, using a 2*1 grid view won't significantly enlarge the visual area. Let's think about it, when the frame is divided into two, it results in two vertical rectangles, while the camera feed is displayed horizontally (e.g. 4:3, 16:9). This means that with this design, centering the feed will create a substantial blank spaces above and below unless the image is stretched and distorted to fill this vertical rectangle.

If you own two cameras, why not use the Camera tab in the App? Multiviewing is possible here.

If you mainly use a tablet, good news! A new version App design for pad devices is on the way! Check here for more: New Tapo APP for Pad Devices -- App Lanscape Mode!
