Model: RE200
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 1.0.3

Hi,

I'm connecting the RE200 to my WIFI network, the router is a DECO X-20, I connected it through WPS and I'd like to have the same SSIS for the extended network.

Currently the extender has created two networks (2.4GHz and 5 GHz) with the same name with the _EXT suffix at the end.

Is it possible to have the same name?

The Deco uses mesh but it seems it's different from the one used by RE200.

Thanks

Stefano

Hi,

Log into web GUI of the RE200, click on the "Wireless" icon and scroll down to the settings of the "Extended Network".

There you can either manually edit the SSIDs to be the same as the main network's SSIDs or just click the "COPY HOST SSID" button. Then click the "SAVE" button.

Deco mesh in not compatible with Easymesh - details. In this case RE200 will work as a regular range extender.

If this was helpful click once on the arrow pointing upward. If this solves your issue, click once the star to mark it as a "Recommended Solution".
