Model: Deco P9   TL-WPA7617 KIT
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.1.5

Hello all,

I have a Deco P9 kit (3-pack). Now I bought a Powerline Wi-Fi Extender TL-WPA7617 Kit. In the box and on website, it mentions that you can connect TL-WPA7617 on any TP-Link Powerline series but I couldn't find any way to do it.

In the TL-WPA7617, there is a pair botton on both two units but there isn't a similar botton on P9. I just need one of the TL-WPA7617 units to install, to extend wi-fi to my kitchen. Does anybody here knows how to pair a P9 with a TL-WPA7617?

Thanks

You can't pair TL-WPA7617 with Deco mesh. If you want powerline extension of your Deco P9 mesh, your only options are Deco P7 and Deco P9.
