Hello,

 

I purchased the Deco X50 Outdoor case in December 2023 on Amazon Business.

 

Everything worked perfectly for several weeks, the WiFi signal was very good and this Deco x50 Outdoor was connected to my network wich has already 3 Deco X50 (indoor).

 

Since 3 weeks, the Deco X50 Outdoor (name is "Extérieur") has a very weak WiFi signal problem, which leads to a disconnection from my network (offline box). I realised all the necessary manipulations by resetting the box several times (including at the time of the reset by re-pairing the Deco X50 Outdoor via an ethernet cable to my main Deco ): the Deco only works when it is less than 2 meters from the main Deco and the WiFi signal is very, very weak. As soon as I put it back outside, it not working anymore and flashes red.

 

I spent several hours trying to resolve the problem, updating the firmware etc... and I wonder if my the problem is hardware and that the WiFi card must be damaged... ?

May I know the model number of the network switch?

-Do you mean Deco X50-Outdoor couldn't maintain a stable connection even when it is connected to the main Deco directly via an Ethernet cable, bypassing the switch?

If yes, I think it is very likely this Deco X50-Outdoor is broken and you could try to contact the shop retailer and ask for warranty service.
