Model: Archer BE800
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.1 Build 20240227 rel.33191

Hi - I'm trying to linked my BE800 to my BE550 via ethernet to extend my wireless network. I have the BE550 set up in AP mode, but would much prefer to have it be a mesh node. There is conflicting information on whether or not these two routers support an ethernet backhaul. Can I get a definitive answer and ideally instructions on how to make this happen?

Many thanks,

Mike

Both BE800 and BE550 support Easymesh ethernet backhaul - details.

Your BE550 should be in wireless router mode (factory reset) to configure this - here's a guide.

@terziyski That worked perfectly. My issue was trying to set up the remote router using the app and not the website interface. That worked like a charm. Thanks!
