  @Marvin_S

Hello Martin.
I have purchased a yearly subscription to full parental control. I received a message from technical support that you can add me to the group of people who are testing KidShield.

I have two children
I would be very grateful if you could add me to this group.

I am waiting for feedback from you.

Best regards

Daniel

  @Marvin_S

There is a mac version, and it looks like there has been for nearly a year from the date in the download URL at the link you gave:

https://static.tp-link.com/upload/software/2024/202401/20240123/KidShield-Desktop-arm64.zip

But it is still broken as @Peppermintloft mentions.

In fact, the versions linked are 1.0, whereas the page says the latest version is v1.1.7

  @Marvin_S I have two kids and we have been looking for better parental controls for all of our products both inside and outside of our home.

Thursday
Please change your logic for this. The new devices randomize their MAC addresses as a method of providing security. This means parental controls in TP Link software are useless because it blocks bases on MAC Address. The solution is simple. Please change the logic to BLOCK ALL, and add an EXCEPTION LIST we can put MAC Addresses in. This way it does not matter if the devices randomize their MAC Addresses, they will all be blocked except those MACs in the Exception list. Make this feature useful again. This is simple to implement. Please do it ASAP.
