I'm trying to set up a three pack M4 Deco to my Talktalk fttp ont but the primary unit is staying red and won't connect. I've followed the instructions on the app, Dynamic IP etc but still red. The M4 works fine in access point mode when plugged I to my TT router but I can't work out why it's not working directly into the ont

Hi, Thanks for the feedback.

I think maybe the internet connection is not Dynamic IP when Deco M4 is connected directly to the ISP ONT.

Have you input any PPPOE username and password into the TT router before?

It is also suggested to connect a laptop directly to the ONT box and check whether the laptop can get internet connection directly.

  @David-TP thanks for getting back to me. I didn't have to set any Pppoe details on the TT hub, it just synced when installed

 

ill see if I can borrow a laptop as we don't have one at home
