Model: Deco X60
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Originally my setup was Deco X60(main) and 2 Deco M5.  I've purchased a triple pack Deco x50 Pro for the 2.5Gp ports to upgrade my system.   If I want to continue to use x60 with x50s, which unit should be set as the main unit?

My plan was to using the x50 pro its 2.5 Gbps as the main unit connected directly to the fiber modem since it also has a 10Gbps port.   If I put the Deco x60(ethernet backhaul) as satellite will this have a negative impact overall?

Thanks in advance.

  @Blu_Cobalt

If you need faster that gigabit speeds to Internet through your Deco mesh, X50 Pro with 2.5Gbps ports should be your Main Deco.

Using X60 as Satellite with X50 as Main Deco will not have negative impact. They will work together with no issues, and will negotiate gigabit speed over Ethernet backhaul with each other.
