Hi, which password do you refer to? the wireless password for RE330 or the web management/tether APP device password?

If you refer to the wireless password,  so far RE330 uses the same wireless password as the host router.

Just to clarify: there is no way to set another password for the extended WLAN than the origin?

Not on the RE330.
