Why does Deco M9 not have an IOT network

I have had a Deco mesh network with some M5s for a few years - when the IOT network feature came out I started using this and it worked for me. Recently have purchased 2 M9s to bolster the network but they don't seem to have access to the IOT network to manage through the app - I can see the network if I am near an M5 but it is not available on the M9
am on latest firmware for all devixes

The IOT network is added via a firmware upgrade. The specific firmware for Deco M9 Plus hasn't been ready yet.

I'm afraid that the firmware timescale of different Deco models is somewhat unpredictable.

@fahmi_smarthome You may be waiting a while. I made a request for the updated firmware/features to come to the M9 over 18 months ago, and any firmware updates since then have shown no sign of adding the new features.

I am waiting for IoT Network on Deco M9 too. I have Decos M4, M9 & X20. X20 has it rest do not, its like holding a tasty chocolate, you cant eat it or throw it :(. Please upgrade the firmware.

My deco M9 Plus updated to 1.8.0 build 20241202 Rel. 38518 about 3 weeks ago and this enabled the IOT network option.
BUT after this update none of my tvs, phones, tablets and TiVo (mix of wired and ethanet connections) could access YouTube, Prime Video & Alexa's couldn't access the internet.
Have spoken to support and manually rolled the software back to 1.6.4, IOT has now gone but all devices now work.
Hopefully the bug will be fixed soon and a new update will pushed soon bringing back IOT
