AX72 V1 Router Hang
AX72 V1 Router Hang
Hi, everyone.
My router every 7-8pm will hang and unable to recover until I reboot the modem.
The WiFI connection is on however the internet is down.
The Internet LED light on the router will turn off but other LED light will still on(Green).
When i want to check the log,I am unable to log in to the management web. Its show operation failed.
Anyone know what's is going on?
Here is my current router configuration.
Below is the video for reference,
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1mHOjWylJ4cRJeMWLha7mvg8SA3v-qAdl/view?pli=1
And other than that, when I put my mesh node to the switch as configuration below, the switch will not functioning. All node are connected via ethernet CAT 6 cable. The switch is qnap qsw 2104-2t.
Thanks.

Hi, thanks for posting question here.
According to your detailed description,we need to confirm further information to understand your situation better.
1.Who is your ISP? What is the internet connection type you chosen when setting up Archer X72?
2. When the internet stopped working, does the LEDs normal on your ONT device(I can not make sure from your video) ? Is your ONT a pure modem or a modem router?
3.When the internet stopped working, can you unplug the Ethernet cable from WAN port of AX72 and plug the cable into your PC (or a wired device) to check the internet access? Or connect your PC to ONT to check directly?

Hi, Marvin.
Thanks for your help and below is my reply.
1.Who is your ISP? What is the internet connection type you chosen when setting up Archer X72?
ViewQwest MY. Dynamic IP.
2. When the internet stopped working, does the LEDs normal on your ONT device(I can not make sure from your video) ? Is your ONT a pure modem or a modem router?
This ONT idk it's are pure modem or modem router. Since I'm unable to change or access into it. My ISP did not provide any permission to do so. But the router, it had 1 fibre port and 1 RJ45 port.
3.When the internet stopped working, can you unplug the Ethernet cable from WAN port of AX72 and plug the cable into your PC (or a wired device) to check the internet access? Or connect your PC to ONT to check directly?
I am unable to access into the ONT. But I had internet access when plug inside my pc.

Other than that, I also experience easy mesh unstable.
Here is the system log for your reference. Some of the node was down after renew dhcp.

Hi, thanks for your update.
When the internet stopped working on Archer AX72 and you connect the PC to the ONT instead (replug the Ethernet cable into PC from ONT actually), you mentioned that the internet works on PC. If so, can you share the IP address obtained by your PC with screenshot?
Then it is suggested to do MAC Clone on Archer AX72 to check whether it is helpful to the internet stability.

@Marvin_S Hi, After done the MAC Clone, the issues still persist. I think there is something wrong with the router and had ship back to TPLINK for RMA. BTW Thanks for your help.

Hi, thanks for your update.
If the same issue remains after replacement, it is hard to say the problem source.
It is suggested to follow this troubleshooting guide to check everthing and feedback us with details.
Also, please share your exact and complete network topology again.
Thanks for your cooperation~

Hi, Thanks again for your reply and your help.
I had run through the troubleshooting but it's does not help.
Before replacing the router, the issues were occurring, and I suspected that the router might have problems, possibly due to the Ethernet backhaul protocol.
However, after replacing the router, the issues only happen when a wireless node is present. Once I remove the wireless node, the router no longer crashes. I think is due to the wireless node are unable to establish a stable connection between the main node and the wireless node. The easymesh protocol did not had any protocol to handle this kind of situation, therefore causing crash.
So for my own observation and conclude, I think the issues is cause by the easymesh protocol.
And I had report the case to the TPLINK support for their reference and troubleshooting.
