TP switch modify signal
Hi
I'm trying to connect a ChargeAmps box thru cable.
I have one exit coming from the main router (google). From this exit, one cable goes in to a TP link which split to one cable to our boiler and the other cable to ChargeAmps. The ChargeAmps refuse to connect.
In a 2nd scenario, I add another google router between the switch and ChargeAmps and make the ChargeAmps connect direct to the router. ChargeAmps connect.
I don't understand why the ChargeAmps connect in the 2nd scenario but not the first as the TP link should not modify the signal.

Hi, may I know the model number of your TP-Link switch?
Have you checked with ChargeAmps technical support to see whether it requires extra configuration?
Thank you very much and best regards.

the Switch model is TL-SG105.
The strange thing is that it works connecting direct to the router, but not thru the switch.
I have the answer from ChargeAmps, sorry for putting it Swedish.
ChargeAmps asked me the following
Nätverkskrav/produktinfo:
DHCP.
IP-adresser
Laddboxen kräver dynamiska IP-adresser, DHCP.

Hi, Thanks for the update.
How about other devices? Can they work well when connecting to TL-SG105?
TL-SG105 is plug-and-play without any software features and works just like a long Ethernet cable. It doesn't even have an IP address.
The suggestions provided by ChargeAmps mainly refer to the WiFi connection but TL-SG105 doesn't have any wireless access.
Best regards.

Yes, when connecting a router behind the switch, this get immediate access to internet.
I think the boiler also works without problem.
Can it be a conflict having the boiler and chargeamps to the same switch?
The chargeamps works when connecting direct to the router behind the switch.
