Model: Archer MR500
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

I tiried different ways to create a mesh by using the MR500 as a main router and the C80 as an AP or extender but I could only be successfull by doing it wired.

Can it be done wirelessly?

  @vldbrg

Hi, Thank you very much for your feedback.

Since Archer MR500 doesn't support EasyMesh Ethernet Backhaul, they actually can't establish an EasyMesh network via an Ethernet cable.

How to Build an Ethernet Backhaul Using Two EasyMesh Routers

So I wonder how you found out they can form an EasyMesh network by wired? Can you share any screenshots here?

By the way, when you try to search for "OneMesh" device on the MR500, Is Archer C80 able to be detected when it is wired to MR500, but not by WiFi?

Wait for your reply and best regards.
