Hi,

I have a network of mesh Deco M9 +

and I'm running a cable from upper to lower floor for back haul connection, the main deco is on the upper floor,

when i tryed the cable connection directly on a laptop with Ethernet port I was getting full speed, around 300Mbps , but when I connect the deco unit and test the speed on the laptop or phone, it drops to 30-50 , so I assumed there is an issue with the deco unit I'm using, and I tried differnt units, tried 3 of them, but nothing was changing, I would appreciate any help , Thank you

Hi

If the main Deco and satellite Deco are both connected to the network ports on the wall on the two floors through Ethernet cables, it is recommended that you go to Deco APP > More > Advanced > Operation Mode to change mode to access point mode.

Regarding the issue of slow speed, it is recommended that you go to Deco APP > More > QoS to diable it or remove all priority devices from the list.
And is 30-50mbps the speed of main Deco or satellite Deco? Wired speed or wireless speed?

Warm regards.
