Model: Deco X50-Outdoor
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.5

I am opening a new thread eapecially for X50-outoor hoping to determine TPLink to address the issues with it and making a stable and reliable firmware for it:

* become unstable with temperature

* "creates" fake MACs and not allow to delete them

* are not allocating router issemued IPs to devices

* show online devices that are not accesible

* show offline devices that are accesible

* "forget" the names of other DECO that they manage

* wireless backhaul X50-Outdoor ina DECO network folows main X50-Outdoor no matter the connection is worse than a neaby different model DECO (M5 in my case)

Once I will recall the other issues I will post them.

Please HELP!

Hi, Thank you very much for the feedback.

A new 1.2.6 version is in release process which might help with the incurrent "Online Clients" issue.

Do you mount Deco X50-outdoor outside?

-Deco M5 and Deco X50-Outdoor both supports "Connection Preference". I think you could try to manuallt set the preferred uplink Deco:

How to select a preferred signal source on the Deco App

As for the "fake MAC address", Are these devices Apple devices?

- If yes, please refer to https://support.apple.com/en-us/102509

Thank you very much and best regards.

  @David-TP

Thanks for replying. No Apple device in my network. I already have set the DECO prefferences on each device. And yes, both X50-Outdoor are located outdoor, under sun. I noticed that during midday, once I used as main Deco an X50-Outdoor, I had many of the issues.

So I changed the main DECO to an indoors M5 and for around 1 day, was more stable. But then it starts as well to show offline devices and re-connect after a restart and work ok for a while.

Also, with M5 as main DECO, it is not shown the traffic but - while on previous x50-Outdoor it was shown... So I think that the 2 DECO modela are not fully compatible.
