Model: TL-PA7017P KIT
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Well then, here again, I'm lost.

It seemed to me that the network I had installed via my kit was a mesh network. With the supplied PA7017P kit and WPA7617, I thought it was automatic, so to speak.

I connect the 7017P to my router via an RJ45, and once it's connected, I pair up the 7617 by pressing the PAIR buttons on both devices for one second.

However, due to a password problem, I've reset both devices. And now, having reconnected everything in the same way, I see that in the available wifi, I have my usual wifi network, but also a TP-315E and a TP-315-5G... In other words, I don't have a mesh network at all.

And when I go to this page http://tplinkplc.net/#oneMesh, I'm told that one mesh is deactivated or not supported on my router...

I must have missed something again, but I can't see what.

Thanks in advance to the contributors for their opinions and advice.

Hi,

May I know the hardware and firmware version of your TL-WPA7617 KIT? It should support OneMesh.

You can refer to this guiance to set up OneMesh with the router first.

How to configureOneMesh™ with seamless roaming (Powerline Extender)

Besides, what is the model number of your router?
