When adding a VPN client, my provider requiers a valid email address.

Why on earth is there a user name validation on this screen?

The router can NEVER know the requirements of the provider.

Is there an update available to solve this problem, similar to https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/616036

Thanks in advance ;-)

@TonyC64

Can I know who is the VPN provider?

Is this email me@you.com the required email, or are you just testing?

  @Kevin_Z

It's ipvanish.

I did not create the user name myself; it's a barter deal with another company which gives me free VPN usage via this provider.

This is just a fake email address obviously ;-)
Any email address is being rejected via the client VPN setup page...
