Deco X50-5G no mobile connection since the switch to "5G+ Gaming" Option from Telekom Germany
Hello,
I'm back with the next problem... :)
Yesterday I booked the new additional 5G+ Gaming option from Telekom in Germany to try out how Telekom's 5G SA network works, and after that I was no longer able to establish an internet connection with the Deco X50-5G. With the ZTE MC888Ultra (which I have available for testing) the connection to the mobile network works with 5G SA (although officially from Telekom it shouldn't work in a 5G router - only 5G NSA should work). APN "internet.t-d1.de" no longer works with the 5G+ Gaming option, so I can no longer get a public IPv4 address, but that's a problem with Telekom. Normally the router should be able to establish a connection with the APN "internet.v6.telekom" with IPv4/IPv6, but unfortunately the Deco X50-5G no longer does that. I had the option deleted by Telekom and the internet connection is working again to 5G NSA with both APN´s.
Does the firmware need to be adjusted in order to be able to reconnect to the Internet using Telekom's new option?
best regards
Paul
