Model: Deco X50-Outdoor
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version:

I have a DECO X60 mesh network which works quite well within the house. I need to extend the WiFi to outside the house, hence two questions:

1. Is there any DECO or DECO compatible AP or mesh device which uses rechargeable batteries?

2. I was thinking of using DECO X50 Outdoor but there is no AC power where I am planning to put it.  Is there a small solar kit (with integrated invertor and batteries) which will have enough power to support the DECO X50 directly?

Hi, welcome to the community.

For now, there hasn't been a rechargeable batteries-supported Deco model. I'm afraid there isn't a solar kit that could be used to power Deco either.

Thank you very much and best regards.

I would buy several solar powered X50 outdoors to extend my mesh area - is there such a device in consideration?

Hi, welcome to the community.

I'm afraid I haven't heard of such a solar-powered Deco model. Deco X50-POE still only supports DC power adapter and POE switch/injector.

Best regards.
