Model: Archer AXE75
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: ?

Hello,

I recently bought a AXE75 router to have a better WiFi signal. I also connected a mass storage device on this with some personal media.

After finding out the coverage was not good enough I set the AXE75 into sattellite mode with a connection to the main router with easymesh, this works perfectly.

The USB media server also is still up, but I want to make some changes to the settings of this server on the AXE75. But I cannot access the device via the IP address of the connection. I get the error message "rejected request under re mode".

As far as i've understood this is normal behaviour for the device, but how can I access the settings?

The Tether app also doesn't work.

In addition, how would I ever be able to set the router back into some other setting without a complete reset?

Also firmware version currently unknown because webUI is not available.

Kind regards,

Jesse

Hi,

If the AXE75 is functioning as a satellite router in your EasyMesh network, it is normal that you cannot access the web interface.

In this case, the settings related to USB media cannot be changed unless you reset the device.
