Model: Archer A64
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Good Day All,

I have a Wifi Archer Router (Model A54, Version 1.6) that I used successfully as an Access Point for the past 6 months.

 My set up is as followed:  Internet hard wired to Host Router - Host router  hard wired to  Archer Router A54.

However, it does not work anymore; it disconnects from the internet.

I brought it back to the business who sold me the router. They checked it. They told me the router works fine; they just reset it by pressing 15 s on the reset and it was back alive.

When I reached home, i hook it up and hooray! The Wifi was Back on track.

BUT when I came back an hour later,  it was disconnected from the internet (phone states that is connected successfully to the tplink router but disconnected from internet)

I tried to reset it as the salesman explain; but, with no success.

Also, when I hook the same wire directly to my laptop, the internet works fine.

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

  @Yag

Hi,

How about the LED status on the router?

Please check if you have set any advanced settings like Access control or parental control which may block the device from getting internet.

And you can also reboot the router. Or enable a guest network to test.

If all steps above cannot help, please contact the local support with the information for further help.
