Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version:

Hello!

I have a MR600 router, and after the last firmware the Vodafone (HU) network dropped off on high and moderate traffic and come back after 1 minute.

I updated the APN settings, tried manual band selection, even reset to factory defaults, nothing works.
The problem is still the same.

It works with a Telekom SIM card, but in here that network slower than Voda.

The observation is when comes high traffic (video feed, gaming, streaming), the router just drops off the nertwork, and when the network is still (usually, when nothing happen, just talkin on Discord) the connection is stable, and the drop not happen.

Is this a firmware issue, or i just have to order a new SIM card?

Hi,

Thanks for posting on TP-Link Community.

Usually the firmware update will not cause drop issue.

For your case, please insert the SIM card to the other 4G routers or phones to test if the SIM card is working normally at the same place.

Or if you have another SIM card, you can also test it with the Archer MR600.

Besides, you can also change the LAN DNS settings on the router to google DNS and check if it can help.

@Sunshine The DNS server change not gonna work, i tried it, not fixed the issue, if not the firmware causing the issue, this is probably the SIM card or carrier problem then.
