Hello,

im trying to control my Tapo 520WS Camera remotely. The camera is connected to our 7links WLR-1230 WLAN-Repeater which is connected to our Fritzbox.

I can see and control the cameras while im in the same WLAN (connected to the repeater).

If i switch to my Fritzbox WLan or (and that will be normal situation) if i want to check it remotely, the cameras are offline.

Remote access works while the cameras are connected to the main router. (thats what i tried)

It doesnt work while the cameras are connteced to the repeater.

Do you have an idea to solve that issue.

Check the internet connection and the network speed of the repeater wifi. How far is the camera from the repeater? Try to move it closer to the repeater. If the signal received from this WiFi is weak or even no internet for camera, it may affect the remote management of the device.

Make a comparison test by connecting the camera to router guest wifi.
